Get to Know Me

Hey there! I am Sarah. I live in the Los Angeles area and have lived in California most of my life. Fun fact: I have been to 24 countries and love learning about and tasting delicious foods from other cultures!

I have been a Registered Dietitian for approximately 5 years. I received my Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition from San Diego State University and my Master of Business Administration from Dominican University, where I also completed my dietetic internship rotations. As a Registered Dietitian, I began my careers working at an outpatient clinic with people with diabetes, chronic kidney disease, IBS, and more with a weight inclusive lens. Over the past few years, I have worked in an eating disorder treatment center with the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care.

I enjoyed an active childhood and grew up playing soccer, cross country, and track. In high school, I developed my own disordered eating patterns that lasted until college. I realized the harm I was doing to myself, the fatigue I felt, and my overall obsession with food and my body instead of enjoying life. Luckily, I found the support I needed and was able to develop a healthy relationship with food once again. I learned how to be active and enjoy my life! You are not alone and I would love to help support your journey towards healing your relationship with food while reaching your goals.
